CELINA | POP-UP WORKSHOP

Celina Torres is a Filipina freelance dance artist born and raised in New Zealand. With her foundational styles originating in Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary, she now mostly explores her practice through Street Dance – particularly in Hip Hop and House.

Blending contemporary, street, and foundational styles, Celina expressed her artistry through Sunday Sessions, a community dance initiative she launched in 2023. Now based in Melbourne, she continues to train, battle, teach, and perform, using freestyle and choreography as a platform for self-expression and collective growth.

Through her work, Celina is committed to nurturing creativity, identity, and belonging within both the local and global dance communities.
