Lana is a Naarm-based street dancer, artist and event organizer who has been cultivating her craft in the styles of W_acking and Popping over the past 4 years. Raised in Guangzhou, she began with a broad dance background – including Ballet, Chinese folk dance and Latin dances – from an early age, until she discovered the magic of street dance from a video of Aya & BingBing in Juste Debout 2010.

During her school years in the UK and Australia, she focused primarily on choreography. However, since attending her first dance jam in 2021, she has fallen deeply in love with freestyle. Driven by passion and curiosity, she has eagerly explored the roots, history, and culture of various street dance styles such as Hip-Hop, Locking, House etc., learning from local legends, pioneers, and originators. Lana has traveled across Australia, Asia, and Europe to deepen her understanding of exchange and battle culture while building meaningful connections. She believes that continuous learning nurtures creativity and growth, and she views her dance practice as an evolving experiment in movement – shaped by foundations, nature, and character.
