Ascendant Dance Company

Varsity Crews

As a varsity crew member, you’ll have the chance to train and grow your dance skill and mindset! The competitions throughout the year offer each dancer the opportunity to experience the exciting feeling of being on stage as well as developing their confidence and performance skills!

Development Team

The development team is specifically designed for dancers that are eager to train, compete and build towards an elite competitive level.

Development team dancers will have opportunities to perform as well in order to foster the experience needed for stage.  The team’s focus is on building the necessary hip hop foundation to evolve and prepare them for the eventual transition into the ADC Elite team.

Varsity Elite Team

Varsity Elite Program is one of two junior teams for 12-17 year old dancers, coached by Company Director Gina Michael.

This team is catered to young dancers seeking high level training with emphasis on perfecting dance technique, power training, stamina and competition based training.

The Elite Crew has opportunities to compete and showcase both locally, interstate and internationally on platforms such as Hip Hop International.

Varsity crew members have the opportunity to compete as soloists with individual training provided by our faculty to all competitors.

Students are mentored to enhance their dance technique and build a versatile language of dance movement and styles to prepare for competitions and showcases.
